Raymond P. Foxworth, Sr., 90, of Albany, GA died, Friday, June 6, 2014 at Phoebe Worth Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Turner and Rev. Perry Lamey will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Serrento, FL., Mr. Foxworth had resided in Albany, GA. for the past forty five years moving from Hampton, VA. Mr. Foxworth was retired from the Air Force and was a veteran of the WW II and the Korean War. After retirement, he was employed with J.C. Penney and also worked with his son at Russell Foxworth's Plumbing. He was a member of Lighthouse Ministries.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Hodges Foxworth, Albany, GA, three sons, Raymond P. Foxworth, Jr. ( Jeanette), Albany, GA and Russell Foxworth (Jeanne), Baconton, GA, a son, Wayne Foxworth (Linda), St. Maries, Idaho, a daughter, Sandra Foxworth Clark (Steve), West Monroe, LA, a sister, Frances McMillan, Citra, FL, ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
