Raymond L Cook

Raymond L. (Buddy) Cook, 67, of Albany, GA, died September 21, 2014 at the Lillian Carter Health and Rehabilitation Center in Plains, GA. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Douglas Hatcher will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Greenville, AL, born to the late, Raymond R. and Nellie Ruth Cook, Buddy had lived in Albany, GA all of his adult life. He was formerly employed with Flint River Textiles and A to Z Repair and Remodeling. Raymond was a beloved father and avid fisher.

Survivors include his wife, Joanne Cook of Albany, GA, his brothers, Tommy Cook of Warner Robins, GA, Johnny Cook of Albany, GA, a sister, Carolyn Cude of Worth County, GA, his children, Melissa Cook, Mike Cook, Todd Cook and Ray Cook all of Albany, GA and a granddaughter, Katlynn Bradshaw of Worth County, GA. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Dorothy Pendleton, William Cook and Robert Cook.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Mathews Funeral Home.
