Rayford Lee Cresswell

Memorial services for Mr. Rayford Lee Cresswell, 70 of Leesburg will be Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Haefs officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home. Mr. Cresswell died Friday, March 23, 2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.

Mr. Cresswell was a native of Montana and a Leesburg, GA resident for 43 years, he was the owner and operator of Cresswell Heating and Air Conditioning. Mr. Cresswell is preceded in death by his father, Rayford Collins Cresswell, and two brothers, Greg and Brent Cresswell. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to the American Cancer Society.

Survivors include his, mother, Olive Reed Watson of Havre, MT, a son, Brian Cresswell and his wife Sherri of Arlington, GA, his daughter, Sherry New of Lawrenceville, GA, his companion, Joyce Cresswell of Leesburg, step-children, Valerie Ransom (Andy) of Douglasville, GA, Randy Hall (Shannon) of Loxley, AL, and Carmen Wiggins (Colby) of Leesburg, and 14 grandchildren, three brothers, Roger, Lannie and Jim Cresswell, three sisters, Millie Wiers, Marsha Wickum, and Laura Ritter.
