Randall Willis

Randall "Ringo" Willis, 69, of Albany, GA died Saturday, October 22, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Pastor Bruce Gordon will officiate. Interment will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Scooterville, GA.

A native of TyTy, GA, Mr. Willis had resided in Albany for the past forty-three years moving from Tifton, GA. He was a retired mechanic with Georgia Power/Plant Mitchell, member of Southwest Georgia Ambassadors served as President for two years, Director at Large on the State Board of Georgia Power Ambassadors. Mr. Willis was a member of First Baptist Church of Putney and served six years in the Georgia National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph O. Willis, Sr. and Margaret Denham Willis, a sister, Sylvia Williamson.

Survivors include his wife of forty-six years, Phyllis O'Kelley Willis of Albany, GA, two daughters, Terri Willis Reynolds (Bob) of Albany, GA and Rhonda Willis Walter (Steve) of Savannah, GA, two brothers, Ralph Willis, Jr. of Tifton, GA and Sonny Giddings (Sylvia) of Tifton, GA, a sister, Diane Willis of Tifton, GA, four grandchildren, Brandi Conley Mashburn (Jonathan), Stephen Walter, Jr., Cory Walter and Taylor DiFranco, two great-grandchildren, twins, Lucas and Aubree Mashburn, numerous nieces and nephews, loyal friends Bobby and Eva Suggs.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, October 24, 2011 at Mathews Funeral Home.
