Ralph O. Freeland

Ralph O. Freeland, 80 of Worth County, GA., died Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Dan Story will officiate. Interment will follow at Leesburg Cemetery.

Ralph was born in Cullman, AL., to the late Harvey and Eula Freeland. He was a simple hardworking man who was a jokester and enjoyed going to the casinos in Biloxi. Ralph owned and operated Empire Painting LLC for many years. He was a member of the International Union of Painters and served as the Business Agent for this area for many years. Ralph was also a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Nancy Freeland, a son Shawn Freeland, a sister and her husband Ottie and Lowell Hood.

Survivors include his daughter, Sheri Freeland, his son, Scott Freeland (Julie), his step-son Jamie Cash (Ashley), his daughter-in-law, Kim Freeland, his grandchildren, Gabe Freeland, Kelsey Freeland, Holli Harmon (Cody), Charlie Cash (Hannah), Cooper Freeland, Parker Freeland and Alicia Cash, his great grandson, Damon Harmon and his girlfriend, Barbara Haynes Carter.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
