Quinton ""Chic"" Houston Butler, Jr

Quinton (Chic) Houston Butler Jr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 9, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, with his wife by his side. A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Kris Mullis will officiate.

Quinton was born in Camilla Ga and raised in Newton Ga. He attended Baker County High School.
He was an avid football and softball fan and enjoyed playing softball in his younger years. Chic was a member of DATIA (Drug & Alcohol Testing Industry Association), the Albany Chamber of Commerce, and a former member of Artesian City Sertoma Club.

A devoted & most loving husband to his wife Margaret (Maggie) and a dearly loved Dad to Leigh (Laurie), Martin (Charlotte), Katie (Craig). A much loved & very proud Grandpa of his 7 Grandchildren, Dylan, Liam, Jay, Millie, Lucas, Kieran & Adam.

Quinton (Chic), was preceded in death by his Father Quinton Houston Butler (Rooster) and his Mother Julia Butler (Judy).

Quinton was for many years a successful business owner/operator of several businesses, including Albany Check Cashing and E-Zee Tax Solutions (Jackson Hewitt), he had always been a very hardworking man and refused to let his health issues stop him from working, he refused to give up and spent the last 5 years doing onsite drug testing (QM Testing/DAC).

Quinton was loved and respected by so many. He will always be remembered for his kindness to everyone he met, his larger than life personality, his sense of humor and his devotion to his family.
