Phillip Joe Nolan

Phillip Joe Nolan, 69, of Sylvester, died Monday, October 16, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. His memorial service will be at a later date. A native of Fort Pierce, FL, Mr. Nolan had lived in Albany since 1957. He was a Marine Corps veteran serving during Vietnam and was retired from the Marine Corps Logistics Base. Mr. Nolan was a charter member of the Vietnam Veterans Post 1 and the VFW Post 4825 in Sylvester. Survivors include his wife Kappy Nolan, Sylvester, brothers, Jimmy Nolan, (Terry), Albany, Johnny Nolan, Albany, Jerry Nolan (Angie), Baconton, Jeff Nolan, Baton Rouge, LA, Jesse Nolan, Albany, Alan Nolan, Albany, a host of nieces and nephews and his godchildren Keunta Barber and Miss Liz.
