Phillip L. (Phil) Davis

Phillip L. (Phil) Davis, 58, of Thomasville, GA formerly Albany, GA, died June 3, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at the Poulan United Methodist Church. Rev. Alan Miller will officiate. Pallbearers will be Sam Knighton, Cody Rogers, Buck Rogers, Doyle Rogers, Johnny Houston and Cody Gable. Interment will follow in the Poulan City Cemetery with Masonic Rites provided by the Tri County Memorial Club.

A native of Albany, GA, born to the late Johnny Davis and Christine Spillers Davis, Phil graduated from Westover High School in 1976. He was a long-time employee of Motion Industries as an account representative and hydraulic specialist. Phil was a member of The Gathering Church in Thomasville, GA. He was a former member of Tri Angle Lodge # 708 F & AM in Albany, GA and was a current member of Worth Lodge # 194 in Sylvester, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Davis of Thomasville, GA, a son and his wife, Jon and Whitley Davis of Lee County, GA, two step-daughters, Jessica York of Roswell, GA and Katie Gable and her husband, Cody of Cleveland, GA and a sister, Donna Howell of Albany, GA.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday at Mathews Funeral Home.
