Penny W. Moore

Penny W. Moore, 65, of Albany, GA died Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Charles Moore will officiate.

Born in Detroit, MI, Mrs. Moore had resided in Albany, GA all of her life. She graduated from Albany High School in 1963 and was a member of Beacon Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore had been employed with The Dougherty County School System for many years and retired from The Baker County School System.

Survivors include her husband of thirty three years, Jimmy Moore of Albany, GA, three daughters, Stacy Holladay, Amy Holladay and Debra Brinkley, five grandchildren, Rebecca Walker, Lydia Beach, Ashton Barnard and Dustin Simmons and three great-grandchildren, Addie Walker, Gabby Barnes and Carson Carpenter.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home.
