Peggy Sue Scales Horne

Peggy Sue Scales Horne, 94, of Dandridge, TN, formerly of Albany, GA, died December 28, 2017 in Dandridge, TN. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery. Affectionately known as Moma Sue, Mrs. Horne was a USAF wife, married to SRMsgt Hobart E. Horne for over fifty years. She will be laid to rest next to her husband who preceded her in death twenty-five years ago in the Veteran’s Section. Mrs. Horne was the last of six siblings and, in addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jim Scales, Jesse Scales, and John Scales, and sisters, Edith Scales Williams and Evelyn Scales Vickers. Survivors include her two loving sons, Richard Horne and his wife Karen of Tallahassee, FL, Michael Horne and his wife Teresa of Dandridge, TN, her ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and her faithful dog, Max.
