Peggy Ruth McDuffie

Peggy Ruth McDuffie, 74, of Albany, GA, died Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Pastor Trent Cory will officiate.

A native of Orlando, FL, Mrs. McDuffie had resided in the Albany area since the early 1960's. She was retired from Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital where she worked in the laundry department.

Survivors include her husband Marshall "Mac" McDuffie, Albany, GA, her children Michael Everett McDuffie, Twentynine Palms, CA, Darlene McDuffie Adcock, Albany, GA, Marlene McDuffie Harris (Timothy), Sylvania, GA and Dwayne McDuffie (Elsa), Leesburg, GA, her grandchildren, Sabrina More (Brandon), Leesburg, GA, Jacob Lynn Harris, Statesboro, GA, Kea Adcock, Albany, GA, Caleb Everett Harris, Sylvania, GA and Jason Dwayne McDuffie, Leesburg, GA., two great grandchildren, Destinie More and Brandon More both of Leesburg, GA, a sister, Glenda Schmidt and a brother, David Schmidt both of Winter Garden, FL.

The family will receive friends following the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
