Pauline Kinard Sims

Pauline Kinard Sims, 75 of Leesburg, GA passed away at her home on September 5, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, at 10:00 AM at Avalon United Methodist Church, Pastor Craig Howell and Rev. Dennis Lanning will officiate. Interment will follow in Vienna City Cemetery, Vienna, GA.

Pauline was born September 13, 1935 in Sumter County, GA. She was raised on the family farm with a very loving family and graduated from Vienna High School in 1953. She was married to the late Larry Sims for fifty six years and they raised their family in Albany, GA. She was a loving wife and mother. She was a member of Avalon United Methodist Church. After twenty five years she retired from C&S Bank. She enjoyed arts and crafts, camping, fishing, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Irene Kinard and three brothers, James Kinard, Frank Kinard, and Virgil Kinard.

Survivors include three children and their spouses, Tommy (Marie) Sims, Joey (Connie) Sims and Lisa (Robert) Anderson all of Leesburg, GA, seven grandchildren, Blake (Charlye) Sims, Rebekah Sims, Kyle Sims, Mallory Sims, Cody Anderson, Justin Anderson and Ashley Anderson, three sisters, Mary K Bailey of Snellville, GA, Marie Nelson of Warner Robins, GA and Ann Nutt (Lawrence) of Moultrie, GA, four brothers Eugene (Annette) Kinard, her twin, of Macon, GA, Thomas (Betty) Kinard of Macon, GA, W.C. (Margie) Kinard of Pelham, GA and Lee (Donna) Kinard of Vienna, GA.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
