Paul Donavan Pearson

Paul Donavan Pearson, 47, of Ashburn, GA, died Saturday August 9, 2014 at Medical Center of Central Georgia. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3:00 pm at Leesburg Cemetery. Mr Steve Ritter will officiate.

Born in Albany, Paul had resided in Sylvester twenty-one years before moving to Ashburn. He was employed with Evans Auto Service as an auto mechanic for twenty eight years. He was a loving husband, father and friend to many and always opened his heart and home to them. He was preceded in death by his uncle Raymond Evans.

Survivors include his wife Devenna K. Pearson of Ashburn, GA, his mother Georgia Diane O’Neal, his children Paul Pearson Jr. of Sylvester, GA, John Melton of Tallahassee, FL, David Melton of Augusta, GA, Ashleigh Cogland of Sylvester, GA, Phillip Pearson of Tifton, GA, Heather Pearson of Americus, GA, Kenneth Pearson of Newton, GA, and Cheyenne Arbuckle Pearson, brother Patrick Pearson of Sylvester, GA and sisters Pamela and Harold Epps and Michelle “Little Bit” Faircloth both of Albany, GA, an aunt, Shirley Evans of Albany, GA, a step father Tony D. Faircloth of Mitchell County, sister-in-law Dewanna Tilton and her husband Richard of Warwick, GA, and granddaughter Adrinah Leighann Beebe.
