Paul Nathan Livingston, 89, of Greensboro, Georgia, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025.
He was born January 20, 1936 in Albany, Missouri. He married Kathryn Jean Lyle on 02/09/1963. She sadly passed away March 16, 2007.
Paul most enjoyed laughing and spending time with his family. He was especially fond of spending time with his granddaughter and their trips to the Waffle House. Paul was an avid fan of golf, sunset cruises on the lake, his morning drive looking for deer, sharing stories from his life, bragging on Jean, and a Bombay martini very dry on the rocks with three olives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; mother, Chloe Ellen Stockwell; father, Paul Stockwell; brothers, James (Doc)Livingston, John Livingston, and Jerry Livingston; sisters, Vicki Martinez and Kay Guy.
Survivors include his only daughter Christi Livingston Patrick, (Todd Patrick son-in-law) and granddaughter Ansley Kathryn Lu Niu Patrick. He is also survived by his brother Eddie Stockwell and sisters Judy Masters and Debi Whitlock.
Paul was a member of the Grand Lodge of Missouri(Charity Zeredatha No. 189 AF & AM) and served honorably in the United State Air Force Guard prior to being married. Paul’s career in the garment industry began at Nash-Rhodes clothing store in St. Joseph. He later left Missouri to work with companies such as Rich’s, Crompton, and Rome Manufacturing Company which led him to end his career in the South. Paul later “retired” and ended up working at Lowe’s for over twenty-five years until the age of 83.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in remembrance of Paul Livingston to College Career & Beyond also known as the Midnight Golf Program. It is non-profit organization that “uses life-training, proactive college coaching, long-term mentoring and the discipline of golf to prepare young people for independence and success at the postsecondary level and beyond”. We believe this donation would fittingly capture Paul’s generous spirit and his love of the game of golf. Donations can be made at www.collegecareerbeyond.org/give.
