Pattie Sue McCaskill

Sue Dabbs McCaskill, 76, of Albany, GA, died Sunday, November 16, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Byne Memorial Baptist Church. Rev. Charlie Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. McCaskill was born in Hamlet, NC and grew up in Laurinburg, NC. She graduated from Scotland County High School and attended Albany Junior College and moved to Albany, GA in 1960 with her late husband, Bill McCaskill.

Mrs. McCaskill was employed with Southern Bell Telephone Company with over thirty years of service. She was a very active member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church where she attended The Deaf Department Sunday School Class, The Happy Hearts, WOM Group and served as interpreter for the Deaf Department. She was preceded in death by her parents, John David Dabbs and Bertha Dabbs, and a brother J.D. Dabbs, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter, Kim Site and her husband, Walter and two grandchildren, Wesley Site and Kendall Site all of Alpharetta, GA.

In Lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorials to Byne Memorial Baptist Church c/o, Living The Legacy, 2832 Ledo Road Albany, GA 31707.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
