Patti Ann Barwick

Patti Ann Barwick, 49, of Sylvester, GA, died October 3, 2015 at her residence. Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 6:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Dr. Paul Payne and Ross Powell will officiate.

A native of Colquitt, GA, Patti graduated from Miller County High School and received her Master's Degree from Valdosta State University. She had lived in Lee County, GA for fifteen years before moving to Sylvester, GA in 2008. Patti was employed by The Ben Hill County Board of Education as a Title One Coordinator. She also worked avidly with the New Teacher Induction program as a mentor to new teachers.

Survivors include her husband, Reed Barwick and a son, Drew B. Williams both of Sylvester, GA, a daughter, Hollie Williams of Carrolton, GA, two step-sons, Peyton Barwick of Marietta, GA and Parker Barwick of Savannah, GA, a sister, Cindy Yates of Miller County, GA, a brother Joan Antonio Figueres and a sister Ana Catalina Figueres of Costa Rica.
