Patricia ""Pat"" Woolard

Patricia Reid Woolard died Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Her memorial service will be 10 AM Saturday (today) at Sherwood Baptist Church. Rev. John Spencer will officiate.

A native of Dawson, Mrs. Woolard was a dance instructor at Murphy Dance Studio before opening her own dance studio in Sylvester in 1977. She was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and the Encourager Sunday School Class. Before joining Sherwood she and her husband worked the youth at Poulan Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Sylvester and was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include her husband Buddy Woolard, Albany; daughters, Paige Maxwell (Gil), Jackson, Penny Champion (Dennis), Albany, Pamela Hodges (Doug), Macon; grandchildren, Dusty Layfield, Whittnye Barksdale, Sim Bozeman, Allye Lloyd, Savannah Fields, Christopher Lee, Caleb Sims and 8 great grandchildren.
