Patricia "Pat" Joyce NeSmith

Patricia “Pat” NeSmith, 81, of Lee County, GA, died November 20, 2018 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Thundering Springs Baptist Church.  Rev. Tom Baggett will officiate.  Interment will follow at Thundering Spring Cemetery.

A native of Ocilla, GA, Mrs. NeSmith graduated from Irwin County High School and attended business school before moving to Albany, GA in 1963.  She was employed with the Colonial Food Stores, Rosenberg Department Store and retired from Belk’s Department Store.  She attended Thundering Springs Baptist Church and the Lady Sunshine Sunday School Class.  Mrs. NeSmith was also active in the Lee County YMCA and the R.S. Boney Senior Citizens Center.

Survivors include her sons and their wives, Gerald and Linda NeSmith of Lee County, GA and Michael and Dominique NeSmith of Jacksonville, NC,  two grandchildren, Christopher Cassady of Casselberry, FL and Catherine Cassady of Pooler, GA, a great-grandchild, Cassady Ann Warner and a brother, Bobby Clements of Macon, GA

The family will be at the residence of Gerald and Linda NeSmith and will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday at Thundering Springs Baptist Church.
