Patricia âTriciaâ Joyce Jackson Banks, entrepreneur, creative genius, treasured wife and mother, died May 20, 2018. Born in Ft. Benning on January 19, 1957 to Robert and Edna, Tricia grew up with her 6 siblings in and around the South Georgia area. Tricia had a talent for creative pursuits like painting, drawing, singing, and writing. If it wasnât moving then Tricia would find a way to paint it as evidenced by the many furniture pieces she restored and the highly sought after bird houses and baths she would paint for craft shows throughout the United States.
Tricia always found a way to make people feel special and cared for. She was as gifted as she was passionate about helping things grow like her impressive organic vegetable garden or her family. Tricia loved animals and rescued several dogs, cats, pigs, ducks, and other animals throughout her life who ended up growing fat and happy under her loving care.
Tricia leaves behind a strong legacy of love, support, and creative thinking. No matter, the challenge Tricia would always find clever ways to accomplish what was needed and never gave up. A true âjack-of-all-tradesâ, there was rarely any pursuit Tricia couldnât tackle whether it was running several businesses, hosting family parties, or being a beloved caregiver.
She is preceded in death by her father Robert Jackson Sr. and survived by her husband Stephen Banks of Albany, GA, mother, Edna Jackson of Albany, GA and children, Christopher King and wife April of Dublin, Ireland, Jennifer Pace and husband Chris of Dothan, Alabama, Ted Banks and wife Tiffany of Fredericksburg, VA, and Heather Banks of Phoenix, AZ.
