Pastor Lawrence D. (Larry) Loughmiller

Pastor Lawrence D. (Larry) Loughmiller, 60, of Leesburg, GA died Monday, December 23, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Dawson First Assembly of God in Dawson, GA. Pastor Eddie Adams will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele, GA.

A native of Ft. Knox, KY, Mr. Loughmiller had resided in Leesburg, GA since 2002 moving from Leicester, NC. He was a graduate of Thornton Fractional South High School in Lansing, IL, he graduated from the Georgia School of Ministry as an ordained Assembly of God Minister in Macon, GA and received his Bachelor Of Arts Degree in Theology from Southwest Georgia Theological Seminary in Sylvester, GA. Pastor Loughmiller was ordained May of 2012 and appointed to Dawson First Assembly of God in August of 2012.

Survivors include his wife Lori A. Loughmiller, of Lee Co, GA, two daughters, Karen Rimsky of Jim Thorpe, PA, Stephanie Loughmiller of Tallahassee, FL, one son, Matthew Loughmiller of Lee Co., GA, his father Norman Loughmiller and his wife Joanne of Ocala, FL, his mother, Myrtle Jomant and her husband, Robert of Lee Co., GA and a brother Michael Loughmiller and his wife Rosanne of Highland, IN. He was preceded in death by a son Kevin Rimsky.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
