Otis Eldridge Paul, 89, of Albany, GA, died February 10, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church. Rev. Jerry Deans will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Nephews and grandsons will serve as active pallbearers and the Deacons of Faith Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.

A native of Randolph County, GA, Mr. Paul grew up in Shellman, GA and attended Shellman High School. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and moved to Albany, GA from Dawson, GA sixty years ago. Mr. Paul retired from Ryder Truck Lines in 1985 after thirty two years of employment. His daughters were his favorite fishing and hunting buddies.

He was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church, had been a Deacon since 1971 and was a member of the Men's Sunday School Class. Mr. Paul was preceded in death by a grandson, Blake Davis, a brother, Charlie Frank Paul, a sister, Carolyn Paul Smith and a son-in-law, Harry Moore.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette J. Paul of Albany, GA, two children, Lisa Moore of Macon, GA and Gina Klatt and her husband, David of Ellijay, GA, a brother, Marvin Paul of Albany, GA, three grandchildren, Kelli Hartsfield of Macon, GA and Ryan Davis and his wife, Christina of Lee County, GA and Chase Davis of Jacksonville, NC and four great-grandchildren, Alaina, Hayden, Ethan and Autumn.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
