Oswald Charles Bryant, Jr

Oswald Charles (Charlie) Bryant, Jr., of Albany, GA, died Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Palmyra Nursing Home. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, August 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Beck will officiate. Interment will be in Andersonville National Cemetery.

A native of Waycross, GA, Mr. Bryant has resided in Albany, GA since 1997 moving from Waycross, GA. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Air Force and retired from the Laughinghouse Wholesale Company. He was a member and treasurer of the Waycross Touchdown Club and of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Ann Mellott Bryant, Albany, GA, a son, David Bryant and his wife Shannon, Marietta, GA, mother-in-law, Dora Mellott, Lutz, FL, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carol and Gary Warren, Lutz, FL and a granddaughter, Ava Caroline Bryant, Marietta, GA
