Oscar Tommy Conley

Oscar Tommy Conley, age 69, of Lee County, GA, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Neal Hager will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Eddie Ferrer, J.W. Beaty, Donnie Mitchell, Josh Mullins, Clint Powell, Dalton Reynolds, and Blake Powell.

Mr. Conley was born in Shellman, GA on December 27, 1948. He is preceded in death by his parents, O.W. and Elizabeth Conley and a brother, Larry Conley. He graduated from Albany High School and was a member of Beacon Baptist Church. Tommy retired from Jamison Bedding as a Warehouse Supervisor in 2012 and was currently employed with Lineage Logistics. He was a member of Chehaw Lodge # 701 F&AM, the Hasan Shriners where he served on the Directors Staff and he was also member of The Loyal Order of The Moose # 1285. Mr. Conley was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Sara Conley of Lee County, GA, his children, Andrea Conley Mullins and her husband, Josh of Lee County, GA, Oscar T. Conley, Jr. and his wife, Denise of Blakely, GA, Ryan Conley and Clint Mitchell Powell both of Leesburg, GA and Roger Harden and his wife, Kate of Albany, GA, his brothers, Earl Conley and his wife, Tammy of Lee County, GA and Dee Conley and his wife, Carolyn of Bainbridge, GA, his sister-in-law, Belinda Conley of Griffin, GA, his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Trey, Kacie, Camryn, Jacob, Blake, Autum, Christopher and Brayden, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday at Mathews Funeral Home.
