Norma Loretta L'Esperance

Norma Loretta L’Esperance, 85, of Albany, GA, died December 4, 2018 at Willson Hospice House. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 PM at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Ross Powell will officiate.

Mrs. L’Esperance was born on September 24, 1933 in Chicago, IL. After High School, she joined the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Logistics Base, Barstow, CA. She moved to Albany, GA and was employed with the Marine Corps Logistic Base for thirty five years and she was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church. Mrs. L’Esperance was known simply as “Granny” to many and was an avid Words With Friends player.

She was preceded in death by a daughter in 2012, Gail Louise Cameron, Survivors include her children, Donna L’Esperence of Albany, GA and Ray (Natalie) L’Esperance of Milwaukee, OR and four grandchildren, Brittany Cameron of Kennesaw, GA and Madison Cameron, Jill Sessler and Carson L’Esperance all of Milwaukee, OR.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Mathews Funeral Home.
