Nola Elizabeth Cromer

Nola Elizabeth Cromer, 83, of Lee County, GA went to be with her Lord on May 23, 2019 at her residence.  Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Rev. Billy Hanna will officiate.

Mrs. Cromer was born in Bibb Co., GA to J.R. and Evelyn McDonald on November 28, 1935.  She resided in Albany, GA from 1954 until moving to Lee County, GA in 1988.  Mrs. Cromer was employed with the Dougherty County School System as a Dietician and worked at West Town, Merry Acres and Albany High School.

Later in life, she was employed as a Receptionist with Dr. Robert A. Parrish, DDS.  Mrs. Cromer was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Albany and she loved gardening, reading and arts and crafts.  She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.

Mrs. Cromer is survived by her daughters Dorothy (Jerry) Melton of Dawson GA, Bobbie (Robert A.) Parrish of Albany Ga, Wanda (Ray) Hall of Fort Mill South Carolina, Dee (Eric) Barlow  of Dawson GA. Mother Evelyn Hatchett of Marshallville GA, One brother Larry (Shannon) McDonald of Atlanta GA. Grandchildren, Robin (Steve) Whatley, Robert A. Parrish I (Kelly), Alan Parrish (Betsy), all of Albany, GA, Chris Hall of Ventura California, Zack Barlow and Nick Barlow of Leesburg, GA. Eight Great- Grandchildren.    

There will be no formal visitation, however, Mrs. Cromer will lie in state at Mathews Funeral Home until 9:30 AM on Tuesday morning and the family will receive friends at her residence, up until the day of the funeral.
