Nina Fay Hartzell

Nina Fay Hartzell, 84, of Albany, GA died Sunday, January 4, 2015 peacefully in her sleep at Lee County Health and Rehab. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Hartzell was born March 1930 in Kosciusko, MS to the late George and Lyda Taylor. She met and married the love of her life, Dale Hartzell, in Memphis, TN at Bellevue Baptist Church. Nina and Dale, a retired IBMer, were happily married for sixty two years and are dearly loved by their children.

Nina was a wonderful homemaker, had a committed prayer walk and shared Jesus' love and salvation with those she met. She had been a resident of Albany, GA for thirty eight years. Nina and Dale attended Sherwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her older brother, Robert Taylor, a sister, Ella Harrison, a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Cheryl Bailey and Joseph Bailey.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Hartzell, Albany, GA, a son, David Hartzell, Jacksonville, FL, two daughters, Nina Sharon Goins and her husband Ron, West Warrick, RI, Tina James and her husband Keith, Duluth, GA. and a niece, Becky Harrison and her husband Chris, Seattle, WA.
