Nelle Elizabeth Rowe

Nelle Elizabeth Rowe,79, of Macon, GA, formerly of Albany, GA died February 1, 2019 at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon, GA.

A native of Albany, GA, Nelle was born to the late John Hill Rowe and Callie Barnes Rowe on September 6, 1939. She graduated from Albany High School and Albany Junior College and lived in Albany, GA most of her life and was employed with AAA Transport before her retirement. Nelle was a member of Westside Baptist Church and moved to Macon, GA in 2012.

Nelle was preceded in death by a son, Lanny Matkin and a daughter, Lisa Haddow, two brothers, John Homer Rowe and James M. Rowe and six sisters, Betty Lanier, Geraldine Crutts, Ammie Ruth Rowe, Joy Ann Rowe, Vivian Mitchell and Lorranine Spargo.

Survivors include her brother, Ronald H. Rowe, Sr. and his wife Patsy of Lee County, GA, three sisters, Louise Marsh of Leesburg, GA, CaroleMahoney of W. Hollywood, FL and Dorothy Glaser of Hawkinsville, GA., two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
