Nancy Gail Wienhoff

Nancy Brown Wienhoff, 73, of Albany, GA, died Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  Graveside services will be held Monday, May 22, 2023 at 11:00 am at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.

Nancy was born in Lawton, OK on May 31, 1949 to Willie Dean Brown and Beatrice Carolyn Brown.  Her father was transferred to Albany, GA when Nancy was in her early teens and she graduated from Albany High School in 1967.  Nancy married Charles Wienhoff in 1976 and they were married for forty-seven years.

Nancy was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church and was employed in the printing business for forty years before retiring with Gillespie Printing.  She enjoyed shopping, loved westerns especially Gun Smoke and knew every episode of Virgin River on Netflix.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Linda Brown Holman and Larry D. Brown.

Survivors include her husband, Charles L. Wienhoff of Albany, GA, a son, Michael (Montana) Wienhoff of Leesburg, GA, two nieces, Belinda Holman and Lauren (Joe) Foster all of Albany, GA, grandchildren, Natalie Wienhoff, Devon Smith, Jayden Smith, Jayla Holland and Michael Wienhoff, Jr. and one great-grandchild, Maddilynn Wienhoff.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 am until 10:50 am at Mathews Funeral Home.
