Nancy Dalton Belcher

Nancy Dalton Belcher, 81, of Montgomery, AL formally of Albany, GA died Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham, AL. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home, 3206 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA. Rev. Brent Willis, her grandson, will officiate.

Born March 11, 1934 in Fowlstown, GA, Mrs. Belcher was the daughter of the late W.P. and Eva Dalton and lived in Albany, GA before moving to Montgomery, AL. in 2007. She was a member of McGehee Road Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Lamar Belcher, step-son Tommy Belcher, a brother Willard Dalton and a sister Pearl Short.

Survivors include two daughters, Robbie Willis and husband David of Montgomery, AL, Kathy Gunter and husband Edwin of Woodstock, GA and daughter-in-law Trudie Belcher of North Augusta, SC, two brothers Lloyd Dalton and wife Sara of Sylvester, GA, Warren Bailey Dalton and his wife Eleanor of Woodstock, Canada, a sister Ann Davis of Albany, GA, six grandchildren Tiffany Belcher of Clearwater, FL, Briggs Belcher of North Augusta, SC, Brooke LeGrand and her husband Dave of Birmingham, AL, Rev. Brent Willis and his wife Kristie of Thomaston, GA, Jack Gunter and Katie Gunter of Woodstock, GA, and four great-grandchildren, Will LeGrand and Joshua LeGrand of Birmingham, AL and Cade Willis and Kaitlyn Willis of Thomaston, GA.
