Nadine (Dean) Pannell

Nadine (Dean) Pannell, 83, of Albany, GA died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Putney. Rev. Tab Howell will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Colquitt, County, GA, Mrs. Pannell grew up in Brooks, County, GA, and moved to Albany, GA in 1947. She retired as an administrative assistant to Judge Malone and was a member of Putney Baptist Church. She was the widow of Joseph William (Jay) Pannell.

Survivors include a son, Skip (Deborah) Pannell of Dawson, GA, a daughter, Linda Simpson of Albany, GA, four grandchildren, Kim (Steven) Freeman of Hahira, GA, Kevin (Crystal) Simpson of Lake Park, GA, Tanya (Tony) Taylor of Tallahassee, FL and Tonya (Craig) Weldon of Moultrie, GA, a brother, Lamar Goble and his wife Jeanette of Lake Park, GA and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Claude W. Gable.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Mathews Funeral Home.
