Nadine Bass Hargrove, 80, of 5103 Dower Ave., Albany, GA, died June 17, at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will follow in Red Oak Baptist Cemetery.
A native of Worth County, GA, Mrs. Hargrove had resided in Albany since 1961. She was retired from Moore Business forms and was a member of the Red Oak Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John W. Bass, Sr. and Larry Hargrove and grandson, Matthew Watson.
Survivors include two daughters and a son, Faye Stocks, Sue Owens and partner, Kay Roland, Billy Bass and wife Jill all of Albany, GA, two step-daughters, Phyllis Hankins and husband, Greg of Tampa, FL and Connie Tibbedaux and husband, Don of Colquitt, GA and a step-son, Rocky Hargrove and wife, Desiree of Mitchell County, GA, a sister, Hazel Bellflower of Albany, GA, a brother, Charles Cox and wife, Carol of Worth County, GA, six grandchildren, John Rex Watson, Brian Griffin, Brad Griffin (Melissa), Ashley Howell (Damion), John W. “Jay†Bass III and John Michael Bass (Laura) and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday at Mathews Funeral Home.
