Myrtice Warren Lindsey

Mrs. R. B. (Myrtice) Lindsey, of Albany, GA, died Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Magnolia Manor in Americus, GA. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Minister Harry Cobb will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Early Co., GA, Mrs. Lindsey had resided in Albany, GA since 1964 moving her from Cordele, GA. She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bernard Lindsey.

Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Bernardine Tison, Albany, GA, five grandchildren, Jackie Tison (Tina), Dwayne Tison, Karen Tison Souter (Derrell) and Tonya Tison all of Worth Co., GA and Stephen Tison, Franklin, NC, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at Mathews Funeral Home.
