Mollie Frances Davis Turner, 71, of Leesburg, GA died Sunday, March 12, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Spraggins will officiate. Interment will follow in Cordray Methodist Church Cemetery (Calhoun Co., GA)

Born in Tallahassee, FL, Mrs. Turner moved to Calhoun Co., GA in 1962 and lived there until later moving to Putney, GA and moving to Leesburg, GA in 1987. She was formerly employed with Coats and Clark before working at and retiring from Miller Brewing Co. She attended Cordray United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, James Joseph Turner, a son, Alexis Turner, four brothers, Robert Eugene Davis, James Cecil Davis, Joe Turner Davis, Melvin David Davis and two sisters, Doris McDearman and Fannie Wastian,

Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Johnson and Terry Wood both of Leesburg, GA, a brother, John Henry Davis, Port St. Joe, FL, two sisters, Earline Johnson, Putney, GA, Mary Herring, Tallahassee, FL and six grandchildren, Darren Johnson (Linley), Marley Johnson Cherry (Drew), Kari Wood Fralish (Josh), Austin Wood, Courtney Turner Roland (Alan) and Matthew Turner and one great grandson Jase Cherry.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
