Minnie Ruth Shuster

Minnie Ruth Shuster, 78, of Albany, Ga, died April 21, 2015 at Willson Hospice House. Memorial services will be held Friday at 1:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. David Tyson will officiate. Her cremains will be interred in Andersonville National Cemetery.

A native of Florala, AL, Mrs. Shuster was one of twelve children born to the late William and Versie Manning. She married Clyde Eugene Fulmer at an early age, was a military wife and moved from Hawaii to Albany, GA, in 1963. After Mr. Fulmer's death, she was married to George Russell Shuster, Jr. for forty years before his death in 2014 and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her children, Aaron Fulmer and his wife, Diane of Albany, GA, Kim Thigpen and her husband, Ronnie of Lee County, GA and Sallie Mozingo Raines and her husband, Bill of Smithville, GA, four sisters, Ann Brooks of Albany, GA, Jeannette Harrell of Florala, AL, Linda Miller of Paxton, FL and Vernell Gautney and her husband, George of Gray, GA and three grandchildren, Joshua Fulmer, Rylee Thigpen and Dara Thigpen all of Albany, GA.

The family will receive friends from one hour before the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
