Milton M. Rivera, Jr.

Milton Manuel Rivera, Jr., 67, of Lee Co., GA died Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Jones will officiate. Interment will be in Andersonville Nat’l Cemetery with military honors at a scheduled date.

Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico Mr. Rivera had resided in New Jersey before moving to Albany, GA in 1994 and moving to Lee Co. in 1996. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Army and was retired from MCLB. He was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include his wife, Ivette Rivera, Lee Co., GA, two daughters, Madelyn R. Carter and her husband Chip, Albany, GA and Christine Rivera, Atlanta, GA. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at Mathews Funeral Home.
