Mildred Deloris Davidson, 89, of Lee County, GA, died February 9, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church in Perry, GA. Rev. Johnny Rogers and Rev. Glen Copeland will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. A native of Savannah, GA, Mrs. Davidson was the daughter of Rev. K.V. Copeland and Katie Arnold Copeland. Their family moved often to start new Churches. She was Sanctified at the age of 13. She lived her life for the Lord. She graduated from George S. Gardiner High School in Laurel, MS. Later moved to Albany, GA in 1950. Mrs. Davidson was a homemaker & was the office manager/ Bookkeeper at their family business, A.F. Davidson Construction Co. She was a member of Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church. She loved the Lord and was a very Godly woman. Preceded in death by her husband Allen Davidson, grandson Brian Tabb, & her sisters Nina Childress, Katherine Marcus. Survivors include her children, Franklin Davidson, Virginia Davidson Swift (Pat) Swift, Marie Davidson and Jerry (Melissa) Davidson all of Lee County, GA, a brother, Paul Copeland of Perry, GA, her grandchildren, Tania (Jamie) Price and Kevin Swift of Lee County, GA, Robert Tabb of Mitchell Co., GA, Mark (Tracy) Swift, Berry (Jennifer) Davidson, Clint Tabb, Jamie Fallin, Jamie Davidson, Brandon Aman all of Lee County, GA and Tiffany Davidson of Albany, GA and her great-grandchildren, Melinda Reed, Casey Price, Belle Price, Briana Swift, Koldyn Swift, Emily Tabb, Walker Tabb, Hunter Tabb, Ansley Tabb, Alayna Tabb, Guage Tabb, Jenna Davidson, Selena Tabb, Brian Tabb, Wyatt Tabb, Raylin Gruber, Courtney Aman, & Connor Aman. Her Great-Great-grandchildren, Paisley Reed, Brayden Hicks, Rayleigh Price, & Everley Reed. The viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 AM until Noon at the Chapel of Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church in Perry, Georgia.
