Michael Edwin Stage

Michael E. Stage, 56, of Lee County, GA, died November 2, 2017.  Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.  Ross Powell will officiate.  Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

A native of Birmingham, AL, Michael grew up in Sanford, Fl.  After high school he served his country in the United States Army.  Michael studied Computer Science at Wallace State Community College. He moved to Lee County sixteen years agoand had been employed with Hall Electric as an electrician.

Michael was preceded in death by two brothers, William Larry Johnson and James D. Stage, Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Stage of Dothan, AL, his parents, Helen and Floyd Stage of Lee County, GA, three sisters, Wanda Malone of Sanford, FL, Linda Hooker of Holly Hill, FL and Bobbie Wall of Lee County, GA, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Sunday at Mathews Funeral Home.
