Michael "Pedro" Edward Egler, II

Michael “Pedro” Edward Egler, II, 48 of Leesburg, GA., passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A Memory Celebration will be held at a later date. We ask that you bring photos and memories at that time.

Mr. Egler was born June 23, 1973, son of Mary Faulkner Egler and the late Michael Edward Egler, I. He was a heavy equipment operator. He loved to fish and chase an elusive alligator that kept breaking his fishing rods. Ask his sister Ellen who lost one or two of her rods to that alligator.

He is survived by his son Thomas Egler of Nashville, TN , his Fiancee Stacey Winters of Leesburg, GA, daughters Erica, Emily and Kayla Winters, mother Mary Egler of Leesburg, GA, sisters Michelle Mendoza (Jorge) of Elco, GA, and Ellen Egler (Garrison) of Leesburg, GA, brother Jason Egler (Kelly) of Leesburg, GA, Donald Egler (Theresa), two grandchildren Karsyn and Dawson and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by Father Big Mike, maternal grandparents Henry and Cordia Rackley Faulkner, Paternal grandparents Donald Egler and Ellen Rapp Fordham,

Michael was a graduate of The Middle College of Georgia in Heavy equipment. He worked for Kerb Trucking Co. until recently when he started helping his brother in the Lawn Care Business. He was a hard worker, funny, aggravating and determined. No matter how tough he was having it he was always ready to help others. He had a big heart. And as his reward for helping others, God took him home to a better fishing hole and creek where he can catch fish and the elusive Alligator. Pedro you will be missed by a multitude of people who will remember your humor and kindness and silliness. It will be with a smile and a memory as you live on.
