Michael E. Griffin

Michael E. Griffin, 43, of Lee County, GA, died May 1, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Leesburg Cemetery. Pastor Tim Bice will officiate.

Michael was born in Albany, GA on February 2, 1973. He moved to Worth County, GA and graduated from Worth County High School in 1992. Michael and his wife, Tonya moved to Lee County in 1994 where they started their family.

Michael was employed with A. West Enterprise as a superintendent and was a member of the A-Team. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a Soft ball "Dad". Michael was preceded in death by his father, Ernie Griffin on May 1, 2015.

Survivors include his wife, Tonya Griffin, his children, Gage Griffin and Banks Griffin and his mother and step-father, Jackie and Jimmie Bellamy all of Lee County, GA, his brother and his wife, Jason and Melissa Griffin of Lee County, GA, a step-brother and his wife, Bryan and Angela Bellamy of Richmond, VA and a step-sister and her husband, Rhonda and Mike Simpson of Albany, GA.

No formal visitation will be held, but the family will be at the residence of Jackie and Jimmie Bellamy, 113 Dadford Drive, Leesburg, GA, 31763.
