Michael Allen Deck

Michael Allen Deck, 52, of Lee County, GA, died February 20, 2019 at his residence.  Memorial services will be held Friday at 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.  Ross Powell will officiate. 

Born in Baton Rouge, LA, Michael moved with his family to the Albany-Leesburg area in 1982 and graduated from Lee County High School in 1985.  He was the Assistant Manager at Tire Distributors in Tifton.  Michael loved old cars, drag racing, NASCAR and working outdoors in the yard.

Survivors include his wife, Memorie Blitch-Deck, his daughter, Kayla Deck,a grandson Brody Taylor, his parents, Frank and Joan Deck, his step-daughters, Alaina Blitch and Lexi Blitch and a brother-in-law, Richie Williams all of Lee County, GA, a sister and her husband, Tammy and James Poppell of Perry, FL, his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Nancy Williams of Albany, GA, a niece, Remington Poppell and a nephew, Case Poppell both of Perry, FL.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Friday at Mathews Funeral Home.
