Michael Freddy Bishop

Michael "Freddy" Bishop, 62, of Baconton, GA, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Willson Hospice House. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Mathews Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Born in Norfolk, VA, Freddy has resided in the Albany area most of his life. He was a graduate of Dougherty High School, class of 1972. Freddy was a maintenance tech at Merck Chemical for twenty seven years and was currently employed by Bilfinger Industrial. He loved Georgia Football. GO DAWGS!!!

Survivors include his wife of forty two years Bonnie Bishop, his daughter Ashleigh (Stephen) Pollock of Leesburg, GA, Grandson Michael "Blaine" Pollock also of Leesburg, GA, brothers Terry Bishop of Sparta, GA, and Steven Slay of FL, special family friends Jessie and Barry Downs of Leesburg, GA, and extended family including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family is at 155 Nacoochee St. Leesburg, GA 31763.
