Megan (Zell) Jennifer Renee Harris

Megan (Zell) Jennifer Renee Harris, 26, of Paju, Korea, formerly of Albany, GA, died May 4, 2013 in Incheon, Korea. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate.


A native of Albany, GA, Megan's life was short but she lived it to the fullest and with courage. She was an extremely talented artist and will be remembered that way by many. She attended Ga. State College and University in Milledgeville, GA and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree.

She loved animals and nature and would spend hours hiking the countryside of South Korea. While there she discovered a love of teaching. She was an English teacher and touched many lives in South Korea as well as Georgia.

We will miss her forever, but she will always be in our hearts. Megan was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Ray Harris, paternal grandfather, Benjamin Harris and great-grandfather, Mel Holland.

Survivors include her mother, Kim Apperson, Albany, GA, maternal grandparents, Olin and Dawn Apperson, Albany, GA, aunt and uncle, Dana and Jason Hager, Leesburg, GA, cousin, Jake Hager, Leesburg, GA, paternal grandmother, Bonnie Birch, Albany, GA, aunt Eve Harris, Uncle Mike Harris and Uncle Ben Harris all of Albany, GA.
