Maxine Baggett Bryant

Maxine Baggett Bryant, 80, of Lee County died Monday, November 6, 2023 at her home.

Her memorial service will be 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Sherwood Baptist Church on Thursday, November 9, 2023 with the Rev. John Spencer officiating.

A native of Worth County, Ms. Bryant retired from working as a Librarian Assistant with the Lee County School System in 2013.  She loved to work in the garden, watch the birds and squirrels in her yard and do arts and crafts.

Ms. Bryant was a faithful member of Sherwood Baptist Church where she was a member of the Abigail Sunday School Class, and loved serving in the areas of hospitality, The Hope Center, prayer group, VBS, Re-Fresh Conference and many more areas.

Survivors include her children, Jack I. Bryant, Teresa Bryant, J. Robert “Robbie” Bryant, Cristy Bryant., her grandchildren, Jack Wesley Bryant and Teresa Marie Bryant, and her siblings, Lavene Cassaday, Judy O’Hearn, Deborah Howell and brother, Sandy Baggett.

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 9th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the Atrium at Sherwood Baptist Church.
