Maurice Charles "Duke" Healy, 79, of Albany, GA, died, Friday, July 20, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev Bobby Moye will officiate.
A native of Ellicott City, MD, Mr. Healy had resided in Albany, GA for the past 15 years moving from Pasadena, MD. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Healy was employed with Ogletree Olds, Aultman Cadillac and Pontiac, and was the service manager at Beck Motor Company before he retired in 2008.
Survivors include his wife, Jean S. Healy, of Albany, GA, two daughters, Mary Beth Calhoun and her husband, Tommy, of Flowery Branch, GA and Sylvia Bulger and her husband, Mitch, of Albany, GA, three sons, Gregory Healy and his wife, Jennifer, of Ft. Polk, LA, Keith Healy of Mainville, OH, and Charles Glenn Healy and his wife, Angela, of Pasadena, MD, nine grandchildren, John Dees of Americus, GA, Molly Bulger of Albany, GA, Eleanor Healy of Ft. Polk, LA, Jacob Healy and Kyle Healy of Mainville OH, Aretee Healy, Keegan Healy, Brodie Healy and Moira Healy all of Pasadena MD.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Mathews Funeral Home.
