Mary Jac Williams

Mary “Jac” Williams, 52, of Anderson City, SC, formerly of Lee County, GA, died November 23, 2017 at Palmetto Health Tuomey in Sumter, SC.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.  Sheryl Giles, Millicent Burgess and Lori McCalvin will officiate.

A native of Charlotte, NC, Mary Jac graduated from West Mecllenburg High School in 1984 and attended Bauder College in Atlanta, GA before moving to Albany, GA.  She was a member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church and was very active in her sons sports including coaching at the Eighth Ave. Ball Park and serving as President for two years. Mary Jac was a partner in Rooster’s Tavern before moving to Anderson City, SC where she was employed with Aramark Food Service.  She loved the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Falcons and the Atlanta Braves.

Survivors include her sons, Josh (Krista) Williams and Chase (Hope) Bryant all of Lee County, GA, her parents, Joel Helton and Donna Helton both of Concord, NC, her loving partner, Brad Alford of Anderson City, SC, a sister, Deidre (Dennis) Wishon of Concord, NC and her grandchildren, Skyler Jackson, Kolten Bryant, Levi Bryant, Bryleigh Williams, Madison Latimer and Walter Williams.

The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at Mathews Funeral Home.
