Mary Lee Tennille

Mary Lee "Mimi" Tennille, 73, of Albany, GA, died October 4, 2016 at the Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Beacon Baptist Church. Rev. Jim Eubanks will officiate. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Ashburn, GA, Mrs. Tennille was born to the late Edgar and Ruby Oliver. She moved to Albany at a young age and attended Albany Public Schools. She was employed with Coats and Clark and was a charter member of Beacon Baptist Church and a member of the Couples Plus Sunday School Class.

Survivors include a son, Gregory Scott Tennille and his wife, Robin Rouse Tennille of Tallahassee, FL, a granddaughter, Kathryn Rippee and her husband John Rippee of Tallahassee, FL, a brother, Junior Oliver and his wife Debbie Oliver of Albany, GA and a special cousin, Brenda Gresham of Sasser, GA.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at Mathews Funeral Home.
