Mary Louise Gay Snow

Mary Louise Gay Snow, 90, of Quitman, GA, died August 23, 2016 at her niece's residence in Leesburg, GA. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Quitman, GA. Rev. Chris Hilliard will officiate.

A native of Quitman, GA, Mrs. Snow was born to the late John L. and Elizabeth Gay. She was a lifelong resident of Quitman, GA before moving to Leesburg eighteen months ago. She was employed as a secretary for forty years at Owens-Illinois and was a member of The First Baptist Church of Quitman, GA for sixty-nine years and attended the Fidelis Sunday School Class.

Survivors include two grandchildren, Melvin Lee Snow and his wife, Kelly of Brandon, FL and Alacia Snow Blythe and her husband, Michael of Valrico, FL, a daughter-in-law, Carole Snow of Valrico, FL, three nieces, Dorothy Gore and her husband, Michael of Leesburg, GA, Kathleen Gay Thompson and her husband, Gary of Albany, GA and Virginia "Gigi" Gay of Naples, FL and a nephew, Richard A. Boyd, Jr. and his wife, Marcia all of Leesburg, GA and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynton A. Wills, a son, John Brooks Snow, a sister, Lillian Gay Boyd and a brother, John L. Gay, Jr.

The family will receive friends following the funeral service.
