Mary Frances (Fran) Sheppard, 69, of Albany, GA died Friday, June 15, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Billy D. Hanna will officiate. Born in Statesboro, GA, Mrs. Sheppard had lived in Albany, GA since 1993 moving from Blakely, GA where she had lived for sixteen years. Fran had previous owned a ceramic shop where she taught many about painting and ceramics. She had a love for painting and teaching others to paint including a child that later became her daughter-in-law. She taught arts and crafts at First Free Will Baptist Church in Blakely, GA for their Vacation Bible School for many years. She was employed with Applied Fibers, attended First Free Will Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Billy F. Waters and Eloise Thompson Water, her husband, Walter E. Sheppard and a grandchild, Sealie Harrell. Survivors include four children, Scott Harrell (Judy), Blakely, GA, Trey Harrell (Alicia), Blakely, GA, Steven Harrell (Becky), Albany, GA and Tonya Rich, Dothan, AL and nine grandchildren, Stephanie Harrell, Brandon Harrell, Macon McNair, Timothy Harrell, Sawyer Rich, James Harrell, Nikki Harrell and Jesse Harrell. The family will be at the residence of Steven and Becky Harrell, 914 Ninth Ave., Albany, GA, 31701.
