Mary Christine Ross

Mrs. Mary Christine Ross, 94, of Albany, GA, died April 24, 2022 at her residence.  Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, 28, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Brent Ross will officiate.

Mrs. Ross was born on September 18, 1927 in Tift County, GA to Lonnie and Ruby Phelps.  She was raised in Tift County and married Garrette Ross and they moved to Albany, GA.  There, she raised her family, was a wife and mother and member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Albany.  Mrs. Ross loved to garden, do yard work and she was a wonderful cook.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ermon Garnett Ross, a son, Larry Ross and a great-granddaughter, Bailey Warr.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry Wayne Ross and Mike (Debbie) Ross of Albany, a sister, Inez Sapp of Jacksonville, FL, six grandchildren, Stephanie Benton of Blakely, GA, Wendy (Josh) Shelton of Opelika, AL, Brandi (Toby) Warr of Blakely, GA, Aimee (Phillip) Hagan of Albany, GA, Amanda Jo Ross of Monticello, GA and Brandon (Julia) Ross of Albany, GA, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends graveside from 1:30 pm until service time Thursday at Floral Memory Gardens.
