Mary Jo McKnight

Mary Jo Poulsen McKnight, 47, of Lee County, GA, died January 25, 2012 at her residence. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 6:00 PM at True Life Church of God. Pastor Sam Hartline will officiate.

A native of Albany, GA, Mary Jo was born to the late Paul Erick and Meriam Jackie Poulsen. She graduated from Albany High School in 1982 and had lived in Lee County, GA since 1994. Mary Jo had been employed with Dougherty County 911 and Lee County 911.

Survivors include two sons, Landon Poulsen and Logan McKnight both of Lee County, GA, a sister, Karen Freeman and her husband, Gene, of Leesburg, GA, their children, Sara and Jesse Freeman, Jeff Freeman and his wife, Regian and their children, Anna and Emily Freeman, Nicole Butler and her husband, David and their child, Samatha Butler and Ashley Benstein and her husband, Tommy and their child, Haley Benstein.

The family will receive friends at the residence of Landon Poulsen and Elizabeth Potter, 108 Edgelake Drive, Leesburg, GA, 31763
